Is there a way to convert SolidWorks files (sldprt and sldasm) to POV ?
Even if you do not know a direct converter, can you give me a hint on how to
make this conversion, even with 2 utilities ( the first exporting to an
intermediate format, known by the 2nd, and then get the pov result)?

I always export the .sldprt to .vrml (SolidWorks can do this). Then open the
vrml file in crossroads, and save it as a pov file. It works, but
unfortunatly (spelling?) the vrml format is just a buch of triangles, so the
big advantage of solidworks (solidmoddeling) is not exported.

I would like to give you a link to crossroads, but the link to the
crossroadssite appears to be dead (its on the pov site).
