Im so sorry but im my last msg I forgot to say what kind of help I need

this is the project:

 * Create a subdirectory of your home directory named Movie.
    * Name the file movie.mpg.
    * Put all your work there.
    * Mail your final movie to gex### [at] isugwindstateedu
    * The movie must have:
         1. A beautiful title screen and a screen with your name.
         2. Some beautiful object (car, dog, helicopter, person, horse) moving
in some scene (city, woods, building).
         3. A gorgeous ending frame that says "The End".
         4. The movie should last 10 to 20 seconds.

As I said before I only have till the end of this day and I still havent done
anything so if anyone can help me even if they did the whole project, I would
be so grateful and appreciate it so much

I'm sorry if I sound like a total dick, but do you really expect others
to do your homework/job/assignment for you, in a totally unrealistic time,
while by your own admission you have done absolutely nothing yourself?

Asking for help in a difficult task is totally different from wanting
someone else to do the entire work while you do nothing.

If I weren't so desperate, I wouldnt have done this I swear and plus, I tried
but no luck. Its a matter of doing it or failing the course. I really need
anyone's help. I know it's so wrong doing this, but I swear I have no other way

Maybe the best way we can help you in the long run is by not offering you any
help at all on this.

You may fail this course, but you may learn an important lesson for life: If you
need help, ask for it early. It's not a sign of weakness, but as a matter of
fact a strength: It's one of the very foundations of teamwork.

BTW, your choice of nick isn't very inviting to help you either; if you had
signaled that you stand by your mistake, by choosing a less anonymous nick,
maybe you would have received a *bit* of support.

"help" needs help: He's been neglecting his assignment until it is too late not
only for him, but even for others.

Honestly, what would you expect of us? "Help" you by providing you with an
animation someone of us already finished earlier, so you can *cheat* your way
out of the trouble you're in?

Not a good mode of operation.

I suggest you fail this one, to learn that it is possible to fail and still
live. And I suggest being honest to all involved: I found that honesty tends to
open doors for second chances even where you are not eligible for one.

Doesn't help that he put it in the wrong newsgroup...

Since you didn't do the work before now, you can't expect someone to do
it for you and then for you to take credit for doing the assignment.

Next time plan your work ahead better and do your own work. If you know
it's wrong to ask others to do your work for you, then don't do it.
Accept the consequences of your actions and take responsibility.

And this time, accept that you didn't do the work for yourself and you
failed as a result of it.

That's life, kid.

Jim

And if you're fortunate enough to have nobody report this attempt to
cheat at classroom work to your school, then consider yourself VERY lucky
indeed. At some schools, submitting work that isn't yours as your own
can get you put on academic probation or expelled.

You do seem to be a bit confused, also you really shouldn't
have posted the 3rd party email address (and using your own for
this wasn't very smart, too, assuming m*.b* is your real name).

Now, as you seem to have acted irresponsibly enough already, why
not finish it off in the same style by googling for some animation
with source available and adapting it to do something resembling
the task specification? You might learn a bit of POV-Ray and a
lot about yourself in crisis situations ;)

But I'd recommend clipka's honesty approach more, actually.

Perhaps the email address isn't his, and he's doing all this to
sabotage someone else in the course...?

Depends on course policies ;-). _Claiming_ that some work is yours when
it isn't is a big no-no everywhere I've been.

Ultimately the reason why I didn't report him myself, to be completely
honest.

Yes, agreed - doing that is a no-no, but the consequences vary from
school to school.
