The following scene renders about 20% slower in POV-Ray 3.7 than in 3.6.

All the dependancies for this scene can be downloaded from the Object Collection
except for the PNG images. The PNG images are quite large, but are composed only
of black and white text and alpha transparency.

  A difference that small can be accounted for because, as far as I know,
the current 3.7 beta has been compiled with a compiler with less aggressive
optimizations than 3.6.
