Why is it?  Why is it, that I can write a program in unix and it works just
fine and dandy, no problems whatsoever.  I write it with a nice modular
engine, beautiful.  Then, I plug it into a windows interface, and *poof*,
every other function crashes the program with a memory error.

Sorry, needed to let off a little steam.  Working on an animation program
and getting rather annoyed.
