It's C++.
BTW, the weeding-out of code has nothing to do with UberPOV. The former
is part of the ongoing development of POV-Ray proper, while the latter
is a collection of extra features that aren't ripe enough (or too
exotic) to wind up in POV-Ray proper yet.
