I picked up Philippe hitchhiking in 1977.  Calypso was in Mystic CT (I
forget if to be worked on or if there was an event) and they took the 2
motorcycles to the Honda dealer for work.  He was hitchhiking to go pick
one up. I, of course, had to go out of my way to take him all the way to
the dealer.
