When you're severely myopic, searching for your misplaced glasses is NO FUN.
Dammit, anyone got a hint?

Get yourself some brightly coloured glasses strings/lanyards. Not for
wearing your glasses around your neck but that bright coloured fuzz is
more visible when you are not wearing them. Tried, tested and
recommended by my wife.

Walk very softly, and do not wear hard-soled shoes.

ah, sorry. the song came to memory when I read your post. it'd be my "coping
mechanism", were I in a situation where the smell (stench!) of "deodorising"
volatiles is overpowering (out of context but apt still, John Cooper Clarke's
'Beasley Street': "..Through a constant haze of deodorant sprays, he says
retreat..").
regards, jr.
