I created the following scene in POV-Ray and manually determined that 
the correct vertical camera angle is 25.6589063.

However, I'm sure there's a trigonometric expression that properly 
arrives at that same number.

How do I figure out what it is?

I figured out the angle is asind(cosd(30)/2).
