I've heard that The Mayflower is a decent pub.  Rotherhithe is the 
nearest station. :)

(In actuality, we went to a very nice pub here on our island, the "Harbour 
Public House")

I did get into a video arcade now and again - there were exceptions to 
the rule, like birthdays, where we went to a place that does pizza and 
has video games.  We never bought tokens beyond what came with the meal, 
but that did afford a few games. :)

Indeed it was.  I remember playing Zork, but as "Adventure" (not to be 
confused with the Atari 2600 game of the same name) on a remote mainframe 
terminal at my younger elder brother's home. :)
