Must be my turn. Since it's hot (31 degrees or 88 in pounds, shillings
and ounces) and sunny and it's our last full day here: Zlate Piesky (a
lake resort just outside Bratislava)

Tomorrow, packing for evening flight to London. Will post updates if I
get a chance

I hear that. Off and on, I have a fair amount of trouble with them these

Buggered if I know. Is that anywhere near the crease? Wherever that is.
And why would you hit the ball to first base? Is he not on your team?
Can he catch it and would you be out?

That aside you could be right. :)

So, I hit the ball to first base, and Buggered gets it. That
seems...odd. :)

Maybe I'm hitting the ball to first base so the first baseman can
practice fielding. :)

Actually, I am feeling a little sleepy. It's a nice rainy day here.

Ironically, there is a candidate running for Governor of Washington named
Rob McKenna. He can't be unaware of his name's pedigree. :)

It's all a conspiracy, I tell you!
The Wikipedia editors are trying to rewrite history and they're using
McCutchan as a test case.
Henderson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Henderson_(baseball)) will
be next

Oi! That's on the other side of town. How long does it take to get there?

I'll take a Drunkard's Walk to High Barnet. Doing a nifty body swerve
around the Harringay ladder and Cockfosters. {Too obvious John. You give
Jim a shot and you're there for the rebound.}

Not long. I used Bing maps for my location data:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/08/21/microsoft_cant_tell_north_from_south_on_bing_maps/

Anyhow. Since when has reality had anything to do with this game?
