Hello I have had issues connecting to http://www.povray.org and
news.povray.org for last 1 or 2 months. And only getting a "The
connection has timed out" when ever I try.

This is what I have tried to sort out the problem.
1: I called the support from my ISP (Värnamo Energi) and they had the
same issue.
2: Went to my Parents home (ISP: Telia) And still the same Issue.
3: Called their support and they have the same issue.
4: How ever it turns out that I can connect to *.povray.org through my
cellphones ISP (Telenor) and there everything works fine.

So my question is: Is there a routing problem somewhere in between? I
would appreciate any help I can get regarding this issue.

I had similar problems on another site, last week.
I had to change the DNS Server.
The first thing I would do is to clear the DNS cache first and see if
that helps.

Try copy and pasting
http://203.29.75.48/
into your browser’s address field and see if that works. It does for me.

Strangely, when I looked up the IP address of http://www.povray.org/
I got a couple of IP addresses that did not work. “Unable to connect”
The only other thing that I can think of. Is to try using a VPN to try
and connect.

Let us know the outcome.
