OK, so before anybody starts wild rumours of my untimely demise: I will
be in America for the next week or two. I'm not dead, just unreachable.
(Or at least, I *hope* I'm not dead - but this is America we're talking
about...)

Given that there are about 380 million people who are "not dead" in
America, I'd say your chances of staying that way are pretty good. ;)
Where are you headed to?

Skiing is probably more dangerous than coming to the US. Then again, I
have broken both an arm *and* a leg living here, and neither of those
were skiing accidents. ;)

Your skin colour is light so you should be safe from the cops. :-P
Play on having a "cute" English accent. :-)

Hey guys. I'm back. And I managed to not ruin my sister's wedding, which
is the important thing...

Would've been surprised if you had. :)
Congrats to your sister, and to you for surviving your trip abroad. ;)

The key is to not talk to people. Also, work out where you have to stand
and what order you're supposed to walk during all the complex ceremonies.
