As the crow flies, it's not far - but it's the other side of Port
Orchard, so driving distance is about 30 miles. (There's no direct ferry,
so taking the ferry takes longer - back to Seattle and then the Bremerton
ferry, which docks there; it probably would take less time in light
traffic from here in Bellevue than it would to take the ferry from BI to
Bremerton).

Crowded? You are next to Alaska. It cannot be crowded.

Looks nice and you don't have to commute.

Do you need reminding? I don't. :-)

With me it is oil. I have a sample of first oil and one from the
100,000th barrel. (I knew the man whose job it was to count them. ;-) )

I knew it! Your bunk number. Why is it Americans use big words while we
use small ones?

BWAH!!!! Alaska is about 2,000 miles away from us.
In the Seattle area, the current population is around 3.61 million
people, and it's the fastest growing metro area in the US.
I'll grant you that that's less than half the population of London,
though - practically rural by comparison. ;)

Which is a hugely positive thing. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes
from the island. :)

I shall have to do that - we're headed out to BI in 2 or 3 weeks, not
sure yet if we'll take the car on the ferry or just park in Seattle and
walk on the BI side.
