The helmets seem totally inadequate to me if you drop from treetop
heights. ;-)
Inane developments. On foot, this would be interesting to see the forest
around you; on a segway, you only are focussed on your machine not to
drop off. How more stupid can you get?

Have you guys checked the date on your calendars?
Also, bad photoshop is bad. The dude's segway tires aren't even lined
up properly on the bridge.

I agree - you'd have to be a fool to even consider taking that tour.

That would have been hilarious. It is interesting to note how easily one
can be fooled. Yesterday morning I had prepared myself to spot any
foolery coming my way, and - tjack! - I fell into the first trap I met :-)

Hardly a joke. The Feegle has assured me that dragons and dinosaurs live
in the wooded areas of Battersea Park.

Can't say he's wrong.
I've met a few dragons, in my time. Several in my family, mater of fact.

They had to make it look like a joke of course. You know the
consequences if you don't.
I agree about Battersea Park. I heard rumours about them when I resided
in Morden about 55 years ago.

LOL
That must be it indeed. That photograph of Morden in the 60th is what I
remember. I said 55 years ago, it must have been 50 rather as my stay
must have been in 1965. The Rolling Stones were singing "Satisfaction',
to the great scandal of the lady of the family I was staying with. ;-)

I remember what I was doing when I first heard Satisfaction.*
I was camping with the BB at Stonehaven. And was listening to Radio
Luxembourg on my 6 transistor radio**, when it came on. The big boys
even stopped talking about girls, to listen.
* Better than remembering what you were doing when someone died.
** That’s how they were rated back then. The more transistors the better
the radio.

Don't. I did valve theory at sixth form college.
There are a lot of very sharp volts around.
Just wait until they develop extracting power from the vacuum
fluctuation. Then it will be worth your while.

Me neither. (with the "it")
Interestingly(?) Henning Wehn a German comedian who makes a living
telling jokes in English to the English. Has just broadcast a show about
speaking English as a foreign language in England. This btw includes
Americans and Australians. :-P

:-D
... interestingly (listen to the playback), the feegle acts as a perfect
go-between. He's fluent in Slovak and English. He also seems to
understand the mistranslations that we older people are subject to.

Aieeee!! It's election time time. <Vows not to turn television on until
it all ends>
Aside: 'For God's sake Cameron, Clegg, Millithingy and the two fish
(Salmond and Sturgeon), it's a public holiday. SHUT UP!'

Hey, at least you're in the UK, where election season is short. Try
living in the US, where the election cycle extends past the time people
are actually in office (seriously, electioneering here seems to start 5
years before the start of a 4 year term, or 7 years before the start of a
6 year term).

You have a point there. Maybe a fraction exaggerated, but yeah, I can
guess what it feels like.
To quote one of your countrymen: 'A politician is an arse [English
spelling] upon which everyone has sat but a man.

I wish it were an exaggeration. No fib - we started to have speculation
and people starting to make noise about running in 2016 in 2011 (and
earlier). The 24-hour news channels have fueled a lot of it (more than
most of the politicians) with rampant speculation about who's going to
run, and that starts for the next election before the last one is even in
the bag.
