I used to be a fairly prolific poster. Here's a recent picture that tells my
good news to my old POV-Ray friends. New render soon in p.b.i--for
old-time's sake.

Congratulations!

Hey, it's never too early to start indoctrinating him into the POV-Ray mindset--
baby toys emblazoned with mathematical symbols, maybe? ;-) Or just... #declare

Congratulations, but you are not going to settle down, are you?

Looking forward to that.

Thank you.

I did take an office job to keep me close to home and to allow more control over
my diet. I'm well-suited to it: I can write, recall, speak, code a little, and
rtfm on all the necessary tools (MS Office). And I can influence (sell) people.
However, I don't have a degree, so the ceiling for me here is nevertheless
fairly low.

It's an easy job (feels-like-I'm-getting-away-with-something easy), and, even
without a degree, I'm (technically, at least) upper-middle class, so I've got
little room to complain. But this situation will eventually drive me crazy.

It's up. Have a look and MAYBE--here's hoping--you'll even get my, admittedly,
20-years-too-late joke (hint: related to my "Commercial Modeler"). I've never
been able to find the right pace here. A lot of the geeky stuff goes over my
head (I certainly don't get that Haskell t-shirt), but when *I* make a geeky
joke, it's TOO geeky.
