Hey, congrats!

You know what this means, tho?  It means you got the job because of who you 
know. You networked with the guy, he didn't hire you, but he knew someone 
who *could* hire you.  The fact that they were both the same guy is 
incidental. That's exactly how job networking works, tho, so now you know 
how it feels to "know someone". :-)
