priceless!

I wish I was a kid in Finland... watch TV, read comic books, play videogames all
day long until 7 years old and then go to school and try to get the damage
reversed... ;)

OMG, I'm Scandinavian!

I use Linux, I use the Opera Web browser, I live in the former Danish West
Indies, and my favorite barley-based vice is Vitamalt. And I like ABBA. (Never
heard of Elwood, though. And I'm not going to touch lutefisk.)

After watching The Young Turks for more than a year, I wonder how my country,
the USA, managed to place #18 in non-corruption. Perhaps they only count it as
corruption if the politicians aren't breaking the local laws? After all, our
politicians are no different from any other commodities in the USA: marketed,
bought, and sold.

At least with yesterday's Supreme Court ruling, the USA is taking that first
tentative step towards joining the civilized world. Obamacare may not be
pretty, but it's the /only/ thing we've got so far.
