Ah, memories.

I'm just going through my mailbox and deleting all the old junk that I
don't need any more. I've got emails from 3 years ago with stuff like
"there's going to be a fire drill on Wednesday". As if I care about that
3 years later. Still, in amongst the trash, I found a few interesting
emails. For example...

"I need to get a comprehensive list of all the corporations passwords,
please send them to me and let me."

(Remember this one?)

"Avoid 231."

(That's it. That's literally the entire email. Subject is 231, body just
says avoid 231. I have *no idea* WTF it refers to, and I didn't at the
time either...)

I just found the invoice for the replacement database server we had to
order that time when our DB server's RAID controller died. It's enough

postage was steep... (!)

Then again, considering that it takes 2 people to lift the damned thing,
I guess it would be slightly more expensive. (?!?!!)

Oh, and the fun we had with BT when we switched buildings. We said to
them "hey, do you guys want your router back?" They didn't answer. We
asked multiple times. They didn't answer. We asked the engineer setting
up the new building, he didn't give us an answer. 6 months later, BT
email us to tell us that they're arranging to pick up the old router.
From the building that has now been flattened. So we email them back
saying "don't be daft, we asked if you wanted it, you said nothing". And
a month after that, they email us again with another automated message
to say they're coming to collect it.

Screwy company...
