So, apparently, Thunderbird has a "clippy" feature. If you type enclosed
or attached it comes up with a message at the bottom stating it found
attachment keywords. When you hit send, it proceeds to harass you about
not attaching a file... a bit annoying.

I actually like this behavior, since I've often forgotten to attach
something when I actually intended to. However, since you aren't a fan
it is fortunately easy to disable. Go to "Tools>Options..." and select
the "Composition" tab. There's a checkbox there for "Check for missing
attachments".

How funny. I've seen dozens of postings praising gmail for being so clever
with exactly the same feature.

Oh, that's cute. If you include a URL which ends with ".pdf",
Thunderbird thinks that you meant to attach a PDF file.
What, like you couldn't possibly get the parser (which already detects
URLs) to ignore any attachment-like keywords if they occur inside a URL? :-P
