A pistol with "no additional shot nor powder", "a compass that doesn't
point north" and a sword. And not forgetting that hat. These are Captin
Jack Sparrow's effects. And a telescope is not amoung them.
Like my dad suggested, the pistol ought to be useful for lighting things
though.

The traditional way of starting a fire is with flint and steal. See the
maybe it points south. O_o

He has a small one, it is shown in the second instalment. In the third
instalment he appears to have acquired a vaster one, to out-machismo the other
