Yes, that's right. An official intel.com software blog is talking about
Haskell. And they've released some software too.
As it turns out, the software is a complete reimplementation of CnC in
100% pure Haskell. (So, its performance depends on how good GHC is.) I
have no idea how complete it is compared to the C++ version (nor how
fast...)

I haven't finished reading the paper myself. It does look impressive
though, doesn't it? "Ryan Newton, Intel; Chih-Ping Chen, Intel; Simon
Marlow, Microsoft" They're all big boys. And they're submitting an
official paper. And it's all about Haskell...
Yes, it's true. I'm such a rabbid fanboy. :-$
