At the end of last month, my employer set up a blog. We're not sure why
or what we'll use it for, but we've got one now.
(The amusing thing is that the company slogan is something like "Your
partner for scientific excellence". The tagline on the blog says "Your
internal blog". Which sounds kind of pervy to my warped mind...)
As if that wasn't enough, we now have a company Twitter account. (The
blog is internal, but the tweets are publically visible.) Again, no idea
why or what it's for, but it's there. Currently it seems to mainly just
list all the conferences and events our sales force are attending.
You can just see some bored sales exec sitting in their boardroom
brainstorming hip and trendy ideas for increasing business, can't you?
(Except that calling things "hip" and "trendy" stopped being cool
approximately 20 years ago... but they don't know that!)

Sure, but there's an "unlike" button. (WTF? That's not a verb!)

It is a double plus good verb. You just unbellyfeel Newspeak. You're not
a thought criminal, are you?

Wouldn't I have to think first?
