I've had diarrhea now since Monday! One moment I will be feeling fine
and then all of a sudden my gut takes a nose dive and I have to rush,
rush, rush to the toilet. One time I didn't make it in time!! Yuck!!
Also, today my stomach has been gurgling pretty much constantly.
WTF is wrong?! I am calling my doctor tomorrow.

Stop feeding the bug! Seriously, I was told to stop eating for 24 hours,
then gradually start again. Seemed to work.

Definitely call the doctor. There are any number of perfectly benign causes
for that problem (stress, change in diet, odd flora in the drinking water,
medications), but there's enough serious problems for which that is a
symptom that you should have it checked just to be safe.
Two of the medications I'm on have side effects similar to what you're
experiencing, and when it flares up, Imodium helps quite a bit. I highly
recommend it, in the meantime.

Good idea!
I've seen people be perfectly fine, talking and walking, and be down flat
and starting to slowly die of dehydration after an hour or two of this. It
can seriously mess you up - get onto a MD right away.
Sure you didn't get some bad water? Where I live this is a common problem
(along with nastier stuff like cholera) especially where the water isn't
clean and has got a high bacterial content.

You know, man, a few months ago I had a similar problem going on for a
week straight. In the next week I was still not completely
restabilished, but much better (less urge and less, ugh, liquid). I
never had anything like that, ever. I lost about 4 Kgs in that week
alone (I didn't have much hunger either).
I didn't took any medication besides some flora restauring pill, lots of
coconut water and a very light diet consisting mostly of rice, chicken
and potatoes, plus bread toasts and butter.
I suspect some bad meat in the weekend triggered it...

That would be rather uncommon over here. Most common cause in Europe is
probably "food poisoning" (i.e. food gone bad) or a flu. Nothing severe
enough to have you die of dehydration within hours, maybe except for
people in bad health condition anyway. So here appropriate action is
more like, "get the shit out", drink a lot, and if it's not starting to
get somewhat better next day, start worrying a bit and see the doctor.
Maybe send someone to the pharmacy right away to get you some medical
coal, because that'll be the most common medication anyway and can't do
harm.
