Can't seem to get that here (copyright restrictions), but I agree with
your point. Still I think one should note, that behaviour, which seems
exagerrated and even funny today, at that time might have been seen as
quite impressive and charismatic. (One example is the rolling "r", which
was used much more back than I think - I can't really pronounce it like
that :)). But come to think of it, it might also have to do with south
german / austrian origin of Hitler. I have sometimes trouble
understanding Bavarians.

Actually I'm not surprised those videos are banned in Germany due to
"copyright" (yeah, right).

If Google/Youtube has any offices in Germany, they're required to abide
by German laws.

There's a big difference between giving a speech in public and doing it
in private. I've seen lots of politicians give fiery speeches like the
one in that video - but they don't have a reputation of being like that
in person. People often exaggerate their emotions in speeches.

I guess that's actually Youtube's generic way of saying "in order to not
risk getting into any legal trouble, we prefer to not give you that".

Yes, but I guess they also have reserved the freedom (via terms of use)
to ban stuff even if they just /suspect/ that it /might/ get them into
trouble.
Nazi stuff is a very delicate issue over here, so I wouldn't be
surprised if Youtube just chose to play it safe on that matter, and
avoids playing anything that even remotely looks like it could be
mistaken for Neonazi propaganda.

Yes, that is exactly my point. One should distinguish this two points.
Actually there is some weird copyright issue involved also (I have to
look it up, but I think it had something to do with some propaganda
material belonging technically (via law continuation) to some authority
in Bavaria which used that as a trick to avoid it getting propagated...
but I really have to look it up, my memory is very fuzzy on that.)

Out of curiosity I watched the propaganda film Triumph of the Will (you
can find it in its entirety and subtitled at google videos).
The film was outright scary, but do you know what scared me the most?
Something which haunts me? At the end of the film, when Rudolf Hess chants:
"The Party is Hitler! But Hitler is Germany, as Germany is Hitler! Hitler
sieg hail! Sieg hail! Sieg hail!" and the audience cheers.

The scariest of scares is that virtually everyone can find himself in
such an audience and cheer.
Cheers!
