I LOL'd. For real. (Anybody else find it weird that we've reached the
point where you have to actually specify that?)
Damn, I wonder if there's a place where you can actually buy costumes
like that?
Hey, Tim...?

I don't get it. And yes, I only type LOL when I lolled. :-) It tweaks me a
bit when people use lol as punctuation, like they're high or something.

Buy? Tuxedo store. Rent? Tuxedo store. Rent for wearing to a bar? Costume store.

Just... the randomness of two people suddenly wearing tophats in a bar.

Hmm. I wonder if there are any of those around here? I think it could be
kinda fun to do a Tim Cook and just run out into the street and
desperately ask somebody what year it is. :-D

I need to replace my hat (someone borrowed it or something).
...and those goggles look nice, tho' won't really work as I have
glasses...and my vest is probably still too small. Shoes other than my
too-tight dress shoes I almost never wear'd be good, too...
Bah. That's for people who go outside!

That takes me back to the mid 70's. I was working in the maintenance department
in factory in a provincial Scottish town. Imagine me with my hair down to my
arse (it was still black then) walking out to the production line wearing a
tailed coat and carrying my tools on a silver (plated) platter. It was the talk
of the washhouse; someone mentioned it twenty years later. :-)
