My son is cutting molars. He chews on everything. It's just like having
a puppy around. For this reason, I don't usually hand him CD's DVD's or
Blu-Ray's.

LOL!
I remember a little girl named Daisy. The thing she liked best to chew
was... her mum, actually. Weird.

Probably acetate or polyester film.

Ouch! Toddler teeth are sharp! (Don't ask me how I know.. Lesson
learned: don't feel for teeth coming in...)

Her mum has a double-chin, and Daisy liked to chew on it.
Apparently if she wakes up before mum, she stands there and picks up the
contents of her cot and throws them at the bed, one by one. If that
doesn't wake mum up and she runs out of things to throw, she starts crying.
Pretty random stuff, eh?

That brings about a rather disturbing mental image..

Nice ...
Our boy will happily stand in his crib after he wakes up until someone
comes in to check on him. We're not quite ready to move him to a "real"
bed that he can get out of. Once he has a bit of sense, and we put him
in a regular bed, I'm sure we'll have some interesting mornings and
bedtimes.

Isn't that just a fancy word for plastic?

It's a rather specific type of plastic. You can laminate polycarbonate
to make bulletproof (bullet-resistant) glass, but you can't really do
that with plastic water bottles.
