Hi all,
I live in joplin mo. You've probably heard of the tornado that hit us.
This is just a quick note to say that my family and friends are fine.
I'll have more to say later, right now I've got to go and help clean up!
have fun

Thank goodness you're ok! Funny, I've driven through that town several
times over the past years. I never knew a fellow POV user was there.

I can't remember not having POV. I think it's been about 15 years. I
once found another POV user in Missouri. I was so happy. Actually it was
here in 'off topic'. The Subject thread was something about snow. 'She'
stated where she was at and I just had to look it up on googol. Looking
back I know I got carried away. At one point, I reread what was wrote
and it look like I was stalking her. So I had to back off.
This week has been crazy. The tornado cut joplin in half from east to
west. Yesterday they got Rangeline open. But don't use it one man said
it took him 3 hours to get through. I feel lucky Wednesday I took
scheffender and it only took 45 minutes. Mostly I take the back roads to
get into town.
The death count today is 132.
The damage: St Johns Hospital They fix me up after my wreck
My doctor office
Pharmice I med for Ma & Pa here
My 0ld High School graduated 1974
Franklin Tech took drafting here
Salvation Ary Store just bought some seeds there
Walmart
Home Depo
Several buisnesses on Range Line
A hell of lot of homes
Tomorrow the President is coming to town!? Think he's going to do help?

Geez! It looks like Hiroshima after the bomb. What was it like when it touched
down? You were in a wreck? Did anyone have any forewarning? Was there any place
to take shelter that was safe? Terrible to hear of all the casualties. Just when
we think are lives are so special, fate could care less.
