...OK, so I'm not even going to get that one then. :-/

As So Greats so aptly put it, "the greatest knowledge is in knowing that
you know nothing".

I can't help but notice that in every subject I've looked at, the higher
the grade, the more Bach pieces there are on the syllabus.

Even for singing. I didn't know Bach *wrote* anything suitable! >_<

What can I say? I like organ music, and that's the only reason I've ever
heard of Bach. Before I started looking at organ music, I'd never heard
of him.

But then, before I started looking at organ music, I *was* only 8 years
old. :-P

I'm sure you've never heard of the likes of Mozart, Chopin, Liszt,
Rachmaninoff and others too. They never did anything for organ (not
sure about Mozart). Bach was far more prolific than most. :)

Mozart did do some organ stuff, and Lizst actually wrote some rather
large-scale and very inventive organ pieces. Still not nearly so many
as Bach of course.

Ah, yes, in his older days. Still, are we talking about the same Liszt? ;)
