"As hosts, the UK Treasury produced an extended agenda pamphlet proposing
the issues to be covered at the London Summit:
1. Coordinated macro-economic actions to revive the global economy,
stimulate growth and employment - review measures taken and possible
further steps"
Gee, that's really something to riot for. How dare they try to do something
to alleviate the economic crisis and improve the employment situation! They
are definitely evil!
People are idiots.

I get the impression those sorts don't want a government or any commerce,
they just want to live in huts and fend for themselves (or maybe it's just
the types they pick out for TV/newspaper interviews?).

I find it rather ironic (and very hypocritical) that these people go
and protest against commercialism, capitalism and the current economy
model... and afterwards they drive their fancy cars to go to their
fancy modern homes to watch their TV and prepare their cheap food in
their fancy kitchens, etc.
People are idiots.

Or rather, at least *some* people are idiots.
And these people tend to be the ones who shout the loudest, for some reason.

OTOH that's not very surprising considering that half of the people have
below average IQ...

Half the population have below-average intelligence. This is a fact.
Depending on what you believe the "average" intelligence to be, this is
a rather frightening fact... o_O
That still doesn't explain why "most" people are idiots - unless the
average is really low...

The brighter half keeps quiet and does productive things, while the
vocal stupider half keeps making noise and rioting over petty things.

That would be my "the stupid ones tend to be the loudest", yes.
