I have 3 albums by 2 Unlimited, if it makes you feel any better.

I was also given one by Scooter for Christmas. But at least I can say I
didn't *ask* for that! ;-)

Hmmmm.. Dance music... heh... seems like I remember something of theirs
in the deep dark recesses of my mind, just can't think of it off the top
of my head.

Hey I'm not saying a word, I mentioned listening to ONE Phil Collins song
on my local newspaper comments page and am being teased about being a fan
since.

Oh okay I like Sometimes, A Little Respect, and Stay with Me... doesn't
make me a fan all right :-P

Heh, Oldies :) Well, some of their older stuff (than those) I swear they
used an FM synth. (Yamaha?)

But of course, everyone knows that the industry stopped producing any
decent music after 1990. Anything 'good' after that is either a cover of a
pre-1990 track, emulating a pre-1990 sound or written by a pre-1990 artist.

Or rather, after that period the amount of "bad" music increased
drastically. The good stuff is still out there, it's just kinda drowned
out by all the dross.

Exhibit A: Smash Mouth.

Exhibit B: Jem.

Exhibit C: I'd say Pendulum, but that's definitely an aqcuired taste.

There seemed to be a time when pop music wasn't so horrid. Maybe I'm
idealizing the past a bit.... but it certainly seems that way.
