Owning a sword: 0% crazy.

Using a sword in public with a crazed look in your eyes: 98% crazy.

Mmm, nice blades. I bet it's interesting trying to carry *that* home in
your shoppig bag, eh? ;-)

Ah yes, I tend not do that indeed :-)

Thanks !

Well 2 of the four were delivered at my home, and all were packed quite
tightly, so most people wouldn't know you're carrying it :-)

On the other hand, the guard of one of these actually nearly destroyed
the cardboard it was in, probably due to some fairly rough handling
during transit. I imagine another package had to suffer some impact from
5cm of blunt steel...

Ordering fairly tough stuff has some advantage after all :-)

No kidding, I've actually seen that happen right next to me! O.O

It was an Asian guy weilding what looked like Samurai sword chasing a
bloke down the road. I guess the bloke didn't pay for his meal or
something...

     It was funny though. :)

...! o_O

Not sure I'd say that was "funny"... more like terrifying! But hey, each
to their own.

It was funny because it was obvious the sword-wielder was never going to
catch the guy. And anyway, I'd just come out of a club at nearly 2am,
everything's funny then... ;)

What, a place where young ladies are actively seeking fun and maybe
romance, and you didn't like it?

   Hmm...

Well, I didn't much like being awake at 2AM for starters. I also didn't
much like the tinnitus, and being almost crushed to death by the sheer
weight of people.

Also, while I do recall there being quite a lot of very loud, very
aggressive young lads around, I don't recall actually seeing any females
except behind the bar...

Why would a gay club have cute girls behind the bar?? :-?

Anyway, even when I paid to go to an actual single's night, there were a
few hundred people, but still only about 6 cute girls. Obviously out of
several hundred people I just happened to *not* be the most endearing of
them all... shockingly...

As far as I can tell, this idea that "clubs are full of hot single girls
looking for fun and frolics" is an urban myth. I've yet to see it in action.

Because it's a fact that females get on with gay men very well?

Six cute girls, and the other hundred or so were ugly?

I just can't believe there were only six females there...

Most of them were 45 or something...

LOL... OMG, now I'm thinking about that women I saw... She was 60 or
something, and she was *smashed off her face*! Later I saw her dancing
with this ancient dude in a really bad dinner suit... Such a good match!
Heh.

That doesn't parse.

I guess the sad thing is that even if I *could* somehow find the
mythical pub where all the young ladies hang out, since I'm not a young
guy any more it wouldn't really help much... :-(

Well, to be honest, I don't frequent clubs any more, but I *could*
because even at my age, I've been asked for my ID to see if I was over 18!
LOL. I said to the girl: "But my daughter is 20". We laughed. (I think she
was a bit enthusiastic in her job).

   However, you're right. ;)

It keeps the patrons from slowing down the sales of alcohol trying to hit on
the bartender?
