Does anybody *else* wonder who the hell let these freaks have actual
liquid nitrogen to play around with? o_O

Isn't liquid nitrogen pretty easily obtainable, provided you have a
proper dewar flask?

Apparently the answers range from a Paintball shop, chemical supplier
(the company you work with has contacts, I bet), the vet, and welding
supply shop.
All from the very same site the LN2 cooled 'puter came from.

Or just take a stroll down the street looking for one of those huge
flasks and tap it. That is, if the phone system is LN2 cooled like it is
here... :D (OK, bad idea, that's stealing and could cause you to land in
jail)

Oh, yeah, or keep in mind, air is 70% N2, so, all you really need is
something to cool the air below the boiling point of nitrogen. :)

you'll produce liquid oxygen long before you produce liquid nitrogen.)

As I understand it, it's highly dangerous in that almost anything it
touches instantly becomes massively flammable...
Hmm, I wonder if there's a way of extracting some liquid nitrogen from
our N2 tanks? (They're designed to feed gas, not liquid.)

You could try letting it out really fast through a small nozzle, with CO2
that makes dry ice doesn't it (as opposed to letting it out slowly then it's
a gas).

...alternatively, it might be simpler for me to take some dry ice home
with me. (It's not as cold is liquid nitrogen, but it's still pretty
friggin' cold!)
