IT: OK no problem, but please remember that until this issue is decided any
new employees who join (during or after the "hiring-freeze") cannot be
guaranteed a PC on their first <insert how long it takes you to order and
configure a new PC> days.

Try taking down the email and/or various other systems and then wander
around asking if you can borrow a monitor to allow you to fix the problem
:-)
