Rather cool, but it goes beyond the physical ocarina. In the real one
when you open holes, the pitch goes up. There when he releases the two
"holes" of the left hand, the pitch goes down. Not how a real ocarina
works.
That also has a much larger range than a 4-hole ocarina would have.

I think it's explained in some of the video comments: he configured it in a
physically-impossible way just to be able to play that one song.
