That reminds me, this week might be my last in London for a short while. Oft to
sunny Cardiff the week after, if this job comes through.

Thanks for the sympathy, both. As Andrew says there's no way of resting
it properly.
ATM I'm typing upside down and its B****Y uncomfortable.
Ah well, at least I get a few days in bed and some TLC from the Kat

So have a noggin or two with St ;-)
As you will have guessed the chances of me being mobile in the next week
look fairly remote. If there's any change I'll mail or phone

Would you believe I was once prescribed 600mg of ibuprofen every 4-6
hours for my THUMB?
Seriously, you know how sometimes your wrists feel sore after typing a
lot? That's how my thumb felt, but it didn't let up for almost a week.
No swelling or anything, and I have no idea why. So, I checked with
the doctor, he prescribed the ibuprofen, and when I got the prescription
filled, they gave me enough 600mg pills to last 60 days.
Of course, I only needed it for 2 or 3 days, after which we kept the
pills around for my wife's headaches (she gets really bad ones, but they
aren't always migraines).

Of course, anything to pay less taxes :)
Sorry though, the next language I want to learn is Italian. I was
looking at software packages like "Rosetta Stone", but the reviews I
read made me think that a live instructor would be a better option.

Luckily there's always a Doctor, wherever you are.

Yes, I do believe it. The doses I quoted are for "over the counter" usage. A
doctor can prescribe greater doses as he sees fit.

Sounds like tendonitis or RSI. Actually I have a similar problem with my left
thumb ATM. It is really painful.

My wife says that the pink Migraleve are very good. I don't get headaches so I
don't have any personal experience.

Indeed. The Kat also holds a doctorate; unfortunately not of the medical
kind ;-) Whatever, she makes a damned fine nurse :-D
