Well, yesterday I discovered a chunk of flesh missing out of my thumb.
No idea why. But it stings whenever I try to touch anything...

Thanks for the sympathy, both. As Andrew says there's no way of resting

Seriously, you know how sometimes your wrists feel sore after typing a
lot? That's how my thumb felt, but it didn't let up for almost a week.
No swelling or anything, and I have no idea why. So, I checked with
the doctor, he prescribed the ibuprofen, and when I got the prescription
filled, they gave me enough 600mg pills to last 60 days.
Of course, I only needed it for 2 or 3 days, after which we kept the
pills around for my wife's headaches (she gets really bad ones, but they
aren't always migraines).

Sorry though, the next language I want to learn is Italian. I was
looking at software packages like "Rosetta Stone", but the reviews I
read made me think that a live instructor would be a better option.
