Alan Shore was advised to "kick ass" by Deny (Captain Kirk).
Walks in and puts the Supreme Court in their unconscionable, pro-business,
"protector of government", places.
"At least have the decency to put your name on a ballot so we get a say in the
matter"
Plaintiff says " unconscionable" and "unspeakable" and Deny farts.
Hope you didn't miss it. Check the DVR.

Now see up to this point I thought this could possibly be some real news
story that I'd somehow missed regarding some landmark decision, but the
mention of William Shatner rings bells regarding some fictional legal
television show.

Assuming you both a) receive this show and b) watch this show (and c) know
which show is even being referenced here)

Boston Legal. I watched 4 episodes of it last weekend. I thought that
it was very funny.

Google suggests it's broadcast by LivingTV which isn't a Freeview channel.
Might suggest why it's passed me by.

I saw a preview on Lovefilm and it looked whacky. William Shatner
plays a character close to his public image, arrogant and in love with
himself. Typecasting that works :)
