I don't know where 'Gordon Bennett' actually came from, but my
earliest recollection of it was from the series of "Please Sir!"

More worrying that a family surnamed Brown decided to call their son
James; shame he uses his middle name instead would have loved to imagine

Actually, her normal procedure is "now where did I put that?" and then to
use the desktop search tool. :-)
