Ooo, high winds and light snow. Just 10 minutes before I leave the
building. This would be an interesting weekend... :-}

Nothing here yet, may have swept around us.

We had a bad storm on Monday (6" of snow in about 2 hours), and last
night we got hit again. We're supposed to have another system come
through this weekend (they had said 4 systems total, looks like we got 3
of them).

We got about 5 inches last night and this morning. One of the few times of
the year when it's nice to have a big 4x4 pickup.

Yeah, we've had (2) 2 inch snows so far this year.
Our average yearly snowfall is 30-40 inches.
Somehow I don't see that happening.
I'm a snow lover and this is the pits - rain - rain - rain.
It's February for pete's sake!
At least I have one thing going - that's the record for the *least* snow
for a season - I believe something like 8 inches or so.
So unless we break a record, we have a good chance to get at least 4
more inches during the next month or two.
What is really sad is that I've built 3 snowmen in the yard - each has
completely melted before the next measurable snow.
The third won't last the week.
Oh well, maybe I should move further north...

Here, during January, we got BOTH exeptional snow and rain. Both close or over
the record values.
Normal high are around -5~-7C, we got some lows over +5C...

We also got rain in January. At last we have some snow ('20-30cm I'd
say), still warm (around 0C) out there. The bonus point is that it's
cheaper to warm up the house ;).
