So today is the third freaking birthday in a row without so much as a
freaking birthday freaking card in the freaking mail. Happy Freaking
Birthday to me.
OK, I'm not especially upset. There are freaking people who have real
freaking problems. (And, sure, I may be one of them, but freaking
birthdays are pretty freaking low on the freaking list.)
And, actually, it's not entirely true. I actually got three
e-cards--one from my sister, one from my freaking Allstate agent, and
one from freaking Mensa. And two of the freaking three can kiss my
freaking butt.
Ya know, I was just reading the freaking POV general board, and there's
this freaking person who keeps posting these freaking messages, like,
"Oh, I don't know very much about POV, but I can't do this stuff,
because I don't know very much about math either" and I keep having this
overwhelming desire to respond with something like, "Read the freaking
manual," or "Read a freaking math book" or maybe even "Turn your
freaking hat around, pull up your freaking pants, and get a freaking
job." Now, that's not my usual freaking reaction to freaking newbies.
My usual freaking reaction to freaking newbies is more like, "Oh, hello,
I'm the evangelist of POV--bless you, my child--try this." And even if
it's freaking irrelevant, or even freaking wrong, I don't have this
freaking desire to slap the freaking crap out of the freaking newbie,
and then freaking slap him for freaking crapping.
I have this horrible fear that I've become a bitter old woman. And,
just possibly, a crazy cat lady. Should I seek counseling?
All help appreciated!

Thanks. For making me feel even more guilty, because I have nothing for
my girlfriend's birthday which also happens to occur on this same date.
There is a ring she wants, but it has only just arrived at the store.
Unfortunately, the shop in question exists nowhere near my area of
location. I should have just paid my brother the extra gas money so her
late-Christmas-early-birthday present would be in her hands. I'm a

Do you:
a) frantically multi-task to the point of getting little done?
b) expect too much of people?
c) frequently assume a task because 'it's not getting done'?
If you answered two out of three, you may be heading for fragmentation.
I've seen it happen to people when those conditions were present. It
isn't pretty :(
Not that I'm perfect or anything. Gah, this guilt is getting worse :(

You could consider adopting Andrew next year. You'll need to have him
neutered of course, and pay the import tax, but as far as pets go he should
be perfect.

Also a happy birthday from me, freaking or otherwise.
Aside, I think that for us to send you a card we had to know it in
advance. So don't blame us. ;)

Go Hang Gliding. I guarantee it will be cheaper than counseling, and do
a whole lot more good.

That sentence gets a rather interesting meaning when you think about
the word "Go" as the name of the oriental board game.

If you've never done it, how can you say that. My point was, that
Sherry has a freakin choice. She can contemplate her navel with the
assistance of a professional, or freakin live life more deeply. I could
just as easily said go freakin skiing. You know first hand how much of
a psychological pick me up that can be. Since I have done both, I chose
the one that brings the biggest grin, and is safer.

It's not feature creep if you put it
at the end and adjust the release date.

I know, I'm late, but I'm trying to give you a freakin good
day-after-birthday-day. That's something no one else did so far, right? ;-)
Happy birthday to you!
