Nice, though I prefer looking at it cock-eyed ("parallel eyed") to make the
motive stand out rather than being sunken in.

I wrote the program that generates these just a few minutes before
posting. Usually I make them by hand, but today I couldn't be bothered,
so I threw something together in Haskell...

OK. It's quite easy for me to reverse the depth map, so maybe I'll post
another one soon...

Now try to somehow incorporate the actual transcendental sequence into it :)

Well, my point was that I liked it as it was, though I was using it a
different way than intended. :)

I was going to make it out of the digits of Pi - but the digit sequence
repeats too much, which screws up the illusion. (Actually, virtually
every digit sequence I tried repeats too much. Hence the letters...)

I think I need a bigger font size (or a bigger monitor) for this one...
Actually, I find that after I've looked at these sort of images for a minute
or two, I cannot focus on anything for a few minutes - everything is blurred
unless I really strain to make it in focus.

I found that looking at the output in a DOS window, the writing was just
too tiny for the illusion to work. I had to set it to Lucida 24 or
something. (I have a 14" monitor. Which also has an absurdly high gamma
setting BTW...)

<shrugs> I can't get any of those types of things to work, it's all a
bunch of characters/dots/squiggles to me.
