Wow.

Just... wow.

Well some of you might remember that a while back, I added a bunch of
clinically insane ties to my Zazzle gallery. Obviously, no one in their
right mind would buy one, but it amused me anyway.

Apparently somebody just bought one.

Wow.

Pitty I can't find out who the psychopath was. ;-) Heh.

But... wow.

I'm glad I was sitting down.

Wow...

Congrats. Note that the first name and shipping destination of the buyer
(like "Matt to Houston, Texas") can be seen in your royalty history page, so
you can at least see if the same psychopath strikes again in the future.

G.

Oooh, someone's dad is getting a nice tie for Christmas....

I should buy one, and wear it to this steakhouse that cuts off ties and
hangs them on the wall. Would make for a very interesting wallhanging...
(Much better than the tacky crap that usually gets chopped and hung)

<has a quick butcher's>

I quite like some of those ties. Especially 'seahorse spiral' and
'purple weed'. However, my taste in ties is frequently lambasted so
maybe I'm not the best feedback... :)

PS it wasn't me.

Me too, if I had to wear ties on a regular basis, I'd be apt to wear insane
ties like andrew's.

Interesting concept. Never heard of that one before...

Thanks.

As you can imagine, it's pretty rare for me to sell a product. (There
are *billions* of fractal galleries, many much nicer than mine.)

Ooo... Some guy called Seamus who lives in Arizona. Damn, I get $3 for
that! :-D

Mmm, interesting. Inspecting the list, I can give you the following
useless statistics:

- This is the first sale of any product that wasn't a print.

- Only one person has ever purchased more than one product from me.
(LOL! Oh, wait... does that mean? No, it was in a single order...)

- The majority of customers had male-sounding names. (7 male, 3 female,
1 ambiguous.)

- All products were shipped to USA addresses. (Except one that went to
Canada.)

- Highest ever royalty was $3.32 (so this purchase is actually quite
close to that). Lowest was $0.95 (tied). Most were exactly $1.33.

Looking at my referrals page, I find that 100% of the cash earned was
*me* referring *myself* to various products. LOL! But yes, I made $0 in
terms of referrals for *other customers*. Oh well... [inserts Zazzle
address into sig]

Meh. So many statistics, I forgot to mention... The tie ordered was
"Silver Shadow":

http://www.zazzle.com/MathematicalOrchid/product/151149562148262876

In other words, one of the least psychopathic ties I'm selling. ;-)
[Also quite a long way down the list, so somebody has probably searched
the whole thing.]

Personally, I wonder just what you could possibly put on a tie that
would actually be cool. But maybe that's just me?
