I happened to watch some TV at my sister's house the other day.
"Supernatural" was on (don't get cable so don't watch it, don't know the
characters, but thought it was kind of cool). Anyway, Guy #1 is having
lots of outrageously good luck, due to a magical artifact he's carrying.
While he's talking on the phone, he glances down and sees a newspaper
lying on the street. Peeking out from under the newspaper is a Shiny
Thing. Guy #1 picks it up and sees that it's a Rolex. Guy #2 looks at
it and mouths the word, "Awesome!"
Coincidence? Or fate?
