I'M DOOMED! I'M GETTING OLDER AND OLDER AND SOMEDAY I WILL DIE OF OLD AGE!
;-)

Before that happens, you will have the fashionable pleasure of your ear
hairs growing out like house-elf tufts, and your nostril hairs looking like
flies have crawled up your nose and died, leaving their back legs hanging
out.

Ooooh, don't forget cumulative earlobe growth and Male Pattern Baldness....
But then, if he were female, he could contemplate watching parts which
were once 34-B gradually becoming 42-long.....
Happy birthday, Tim!

Thank you everyone for the kind and funny wishes!
I'm not really a ranter (is that a word?) in regards to my birthday and
age, so I hope you all got my drift that my post was originally meant to
be funny. I'm 26 now, and pessimistic peeps would say I'm heading
straight to 30 now (as if 30 were a bad age!), but I don't fuss that
much about my age. 26 isn't old, unless you're spending time with teens
or twents, and then you're wise and experienced all of a sudden, which I
honestly don't feel like. ;-)
All in all, birthdays are just days to celebrate and have fun, invite
friends and family and make yourself promises you won't hold (just like
New Year´s ;-). The joys of life, strictly speaking! :-)
So, thanks again for all your wishes here, it was nice stopping by every
now and then and seeing them increase in number. :-)
Regards,
Tim

Ditto! And i'm only 29! Actually, what I really miss is the college
lifestyle. So far it seems to have been the peak of my creativity. Writing a
lot, playing a lot of guitar -- with other people no less, painting even.
Life's not so bad right now though :)

I had been thinking of exactly that quote. A lot of people, when they are
young and have hot-looking, healthy bodies in their prime, don't have their
emotional act together and lack a clue how to really live it and capitalise
on their gifts of youth: health, beauty and time.
By the time they get their head sorted out and wanting to go for it, their
bodies are already falling apart I was one. :-\

Well, I wouldn't, but largely because I don't want to do 16 again. For
me, that was a year of maximum suckage. 17 wasn't bad, because I got to
spend a couple weeks in the USSR on a concert tour, but really anything
before 25 or so isn't something I care to repeat.

Part VII. The opening is not really death by sex, but that was the image
that was evoked by your comment. :-)
