Present, Dr John and Stephen.
Absent with apologies, St and Andrew.
We met under the shade of a cuddly Linux Penguin in a pub that was
surprisingly quiet for the time and location. After our introductions
we quaffed a bear or two and gossiped about the members that were not
here. (I told you all so :-)
We then decided to hold regular meetings and hold an extra ordinary
one when St can come down.
The meeting was declared closed and we retired to a very nice Spanish
pub that Dr John knew. So small that you couldn't swing a cat, though
why you would want to in a pub I don't know. Very nice the sort of
place where they put left hats (don't ask) behind the bar until the
customer comes back. A gem of a bar in central London.
PS John took a photo but he had to boot up Windows to do it. <g>

I forgot to say, if it was not obvious, that I enjoyed the evening and
stayed longer than I intended.
It is nice to talk to fellow Povers over a drink.

I was either trying to entice someone from Warwickshire down here or
my spelling sucks :)
And who are you to say if I'm sober or Scottish? Eh! :)

Nah, that's not gossiping... Where was the garden fence? ;)

LOL!! Mate, you just don't know how funny that was for me at 2am(ish).
*Cried* with laughter. :o)

Heh... Did the heavens open up? ;)
Guys, can't wait to see you both, but I fear we may not meet the young
one as he currently has 10 (or so) reasons for not being there. ;)
But I really hope he can make it.

It is awkward to have birthdays at a BH weekend. Maybe next time.

I'll have you know I had to say 20 Hail Linus's and 30 Our rms's as a
penance :-)
Its not my fault that Logitech don't support Linux :-) and the various
driver hackers haven't got around to supporting the Quickcam Pro 5000
