RC3Metal 1.3 is updated with a galvanized texture macro that takes a
turbulence argument. Also, "Galvanised" may now be spelled with an 's'.
One of the optimizations in RC3Metal 1.2.1 caused photons to fail on
objects with blurred reflection. This bug has been corrected.
Other changes include;
- RC3Metal 1.3 detects POV-Ray 3.8 and sets the default ambient
parameter accordingly.
- The message to the debug stream stating that rc3metal.inc is
included is suppressed by default.
- The RC3M_Albedo parameter now controls only diffuse albedo; whether
to use specular albedo is now controlled solely by the POV-Ray
version. There is no functional difference, as RC3Metal has always
calculated a fake specular albedo when the albedo keyword was not
specified.
To Le Forgeron: I also posted a minor update to CoffeeMug in mid April.
