Yes, excellent, I should have made that part clear.
With no texture as part of the object declaration, the object and the texture
can be moved independently.
Once the texture for the object is defined, then they both move as a unit.
But for my purposes, when I move one independently, the texturing of the object
will change because they will "intersect" in different regions relative to each
other. Similarly, translating and rotating multiple objects in unison would
change where a discontinuity or transition of a texture appears on the surface
of the objects in that union.
