Hi! I know this is the dumbest question, any one has ever asked but I am kinda
puzzled with this. This being the forum for new user I thought this the place to
seek help.

I am not able to change the size rendering window,I mean the output image window
is very small in my case and I want to render my scene file to a larger
dimension. So, can you tell how to change that in windows executable POV-ray. :(

As you know, there are no stupid questions... :-)

There are several ways to do what you ask:
1) you can select pre-defined render sizes from the drop-down combobox on
the upper left of your screen, the one showing (for instance "[640 x 640, AA
0.3]"
2) you can edit the content of this combobox by opening the file "Edit
resolution INI files" under the Tools menu
3) you can define your own resolution in the command line window, for
instance: +w1000 +h800
4) you can also write your own ini file in which those parameters are
included

Before all else, the documentation can help you with details on this. See
the introduction chapter of the help.

Upper left corner of the program window there should be a resolution
drop-down selection there.

You can also change output resolutions by adding -wN -hN (N is integer
number, also +w +h works), for the width and height dimensions needed, to
the command field box immediately to the right of that (unless you moved
it).
If those are larger than the display you're using the render window will
have scroll bars, unless you maximize it in which case it'll conform to the
display (shrink it down to fit).

Hey Thomas! It was a little bit dumb... ;^) Only joking!

I skipped saying that Tools menu resolution.ini edit so maybe we both
answered completely enough. Was wondering if the toolbar was showing
properly if it didn't look obvious to change it already.

It worked with command line option:)

But as Thomas mentioned earlier:

"you can select pre-defined render sizes from the drop-down combobox on
the upper left of your screen, the one showing (for instance "[640 x 640, AA
0.3]" "

there is no predefined default option there in combobox. In fact there is a file
called quickres.ini but it never shows up there in the drop-down combobox.
So, is there any setting or something to add that those option there in
combobox.

(Just for info: In my case combobox has only one option called More Resolution
and when ever I choose that one..that brings help menu for ...on how to add
more resolution)

Hmm... I thought POV-Ray always came with a filled quickres.ini file. If you
have a quickres.ini file somewhere, just open it in the editor to see what
is inside. It should be in the "renderer" folder of POV-Ray.

Maybe I overlooked something there. Just in case, I attach my own version of
quickres.ini. Just drop it into the "renderer" folder of POV-Ray. The
combobx should then contain a list of resolutions. I suppose that you can go
on from there.

configure it's path or something.

Check in PVENGINE.INI that there is an entry in
[General] that has an entry like
SecondaryINIFile=C:\GRAPHICS\POV-RAY FOR WINDOWS V3.5\renderer\quickres.ini

SecondaryINISection=[800x600, AA 0.3]

Access to PVENGINE.INI can be found in the Tolls menu
