Hi,

I'm using Pov-Ray from command line and would like to avoid to GUI
altogether, but I'm unable to find the info on how to do it. I know about
the -D flag, but I want no GUI whatsoever and all the output to be returned
to the console.

How does one do that? and sorry if I missed the obvious place in the
documentation.

In the windows version it can't be done. The best you can do is to start 
minimized. I think that's the same if using the Mac version.
You may want to check the unix/linux version whitch are command-line only.
Another option is to do your own compile under windows or mac of the command 
line source code.

Not sure.
The easiest way, on Windows, would be to pass by a shortcut. Set the shortcut to 
start the application minimized. The problem then is to pass a parameter such as 
the scene's name.

Supposedly MegaPOV for Windows has an option to do this.
