Hello,

I am not particularly POVRAY competent and would like a simple way of making
a box shape curve or bend, does anyone know how to do this?

You can use a combination of box and cylinders using union and difference.
A better wat, but usualy slower, is to use an iso_surface where you use function(s) to
bend your 
original shape.
